Dosnya melibatkan pentitratan untuk mengurangkan gejala gastrousus, seperti loya, cirit-birit, dan muntah: mulakan 0.6 mg suntikan subkutaneus setiap hari selama 1 minggu; meningkatkan kepada dos penyelenggaraan sebanyak 1.2 mg setiap hari; dan meningkat kepada 1.8 mg setiap hari, mengikut keperluan.<br \/>\nLiraglutide juga diluluskan oleh FDA sebagai Saxenda untuk obesiti dengan indeks jisim badan 30kg\/m2 <or 27kg\/m2 with the presence of at least 1 weight-related comorbid condition.
